Miele - Menu cooking on the steam convection ovens
My favorite feature on the DGC 6700 is the menu cooking option.
Menu cooking will allow you to cook up to three foods at the same time using steam. All you have to do is tell the oven what foods you'd like to cook and it will do all the timing for you. It will even ask you how well done you'd like certain products.
My common scenario would be salmon, asparagus and rice. The oven will actually ask me how well done I'd like my asparagus, whether I'd like it al dente with a little more crunch or whether I'd like it softer. Once I've inputted all this information to the oven, it will time it all out and ask me to put one food in at a time. When it's all complete, it will all come out at the same time, making serving your guests or your family a breeze.
